The experience

One of the most unique things you can do in Switzerland

In the two-seat Stemme S10 you sit side by side under a wide glass canopy, with an uninterrupted view of the peaks, glaciers and turquoise lakes below. It feels closer to soaring with the eagles than to an airline seat.

We take off under engine power and, once we reach the mountains, switch it off — leaving only the rush of the air and the Alps stretching to the horizon. Few experiences come this close to pure flight.

Thun is the standard included departure airfield. Departures from other airfields are available on request and may carry a transfer surcharge.

If we cancel for weather or safety reasons, we reschedule at no cost; where no replacement can be agreed, you receive a refund. Bookings can be transferred to an eligible passenger.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need flying experience?

No. The Stemme S10 is flown by our pilot; you fly along and take in the Alps.

What happens in bad weather?

Soaring depends on conditions. If we cannot fly safely we reschedule, as set out in our cancellation and weather policy.

Can I give a flight as a gift?

Yes — the Alpine Experience is available as a gift voucher with a personal boarding pass.

Can we depart from another airfield?

Departures beyond Thun are possible on request and quote, and may include a transfer surcharge.
