Voucher terms
Purchase, validity and redemption of Alpine Experience vouchers. Last updated: 12 June 2026.
1. Scope and issuer
These voucher terms govern the purchase and redemption of flight vouchers ("Alpine Experience" vouchers) issued by Swiss-Sailplane GmbH, Sandrainstrasse 2, 3007 Bern, Switzerland. They supplement our general terms and conditions; the Stemme flight terms apply to the flight booked when redeeming a voucher.
2. Purchase and delivery
Vouchers can be purchased online and paid by card (with the card surcharge disclosed in the general terms) or by bank transfer. The voucher with its personal redemption code is issued by email once the payment has been confirmed; for bank transfers this is after the funds have been received.
3. Content of the voucher
The voucher entitles the holder to the flight package named on it, with departure from Thun as standard. A different departure airfield can be requested and may carry a transfer surcharge in accordance with the flight terms.
4. Validity
Vouchers are valid for 36 months from the date of issue; the expiry date is shown on the voucher. After expiry the voucher can no longer be redeemed and the amount paid is not refunded.
5. Redemption
To redeem a voucher, book a published flight date online and enter the redemption code. Redemption is subject to availability of published dates — we recommend booking early, especially during the soaring season. The weather and cancellation rules of the Stemme flight terms apply to the booked flight.
6. Transferability
Vouchers are transferable: any person who meets the passenger requirements of the flight terms may redeem them. Commercial resale of vouchers is not permitted.
7. No cash redemption
Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash, and no residual value is paid out.
8. Lost voucher codes
Vouchers are registered in our system. If a voucher or its code is lost, contact info@swiss-sailplane.ch with the purchase details — after verification we can reissue the voucher.
9. Final provisions
Our general terms and conditions apply in addition. Swiss substantive law applies; the place of jurisdiction is Bern, mandatory statutory places of jurisdiction remain reserved. In the event of discrepancies between the German and English versions, the German version prevails.
