The Compact Smart Charger CSC 384 is a high-performance charger for Emectric BM 384 HV lithium battery systems in electric gliders and motorgliders. It manages intelligent charging, discharging and winter-storage charge through an integrated WiFi interface and the WeCharge web cockpit at wecharge.swiss-sailplane.ch.
Charge a single battery externally, or both batteries at once when they are installed in the aircraft. Set your target state of charge and power, discharge to a target before storage, or run a winter-storage charge to exactly 30 % SoC — all from your phone or laptop.
Designed to IEC 61851 and built for the field: an IP65 enclosure, a single multi-colour status LED readable from outside the aircraft, a connector interlock, thermal protection and a power-on self-test on every start.
